Requirements:

  • Applicants must be a United States citizen, Green Card holder, or EAD Green Card holder; work sponsorship is not available for this position, as stated by the client.
  • Engineering experience is required; banking-domain experience is preferred.
  • Strong API development experience in a core banking environment; experience with Oracle Core Banking or Temenos Core Banking products is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Core Banking platforms, including multi-cloud integrations, automation, DevOps pipelines, and secure enterprise system design.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Core Banking services, Azure administration (users, groups, SSO, and access control), and Azure and Oracle Cloud networking.
  • Experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for API testing with Postman and Newman CLI, and automating configuration deployments using Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), core banking API Postman collections, and integrating MuleSoft and Oracle APIs using mTLS security.
  • Familiarity with OCI GoldenGate, Azure Data Lake, and monitoring, metrics, and alerting using Oracle Cloud tools and Dynatrace.
  • Programming skills in Java, Python, Kafka, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Azure or Oracle Cloud certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure Oracle Cloud Core Banking services for the banking platform.
  • Administer Azure users, groups, SSO, and access controls, and manage Azure and Oracle Cloud networking.
  • Build Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for API testing and automate configuration deployments with PowerShell.
  • Develop workflows and manage projects in Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Create Postman collections for core banking APIs and integrate MuleSoft and Oracle APIs using mTLS security.
  • Use OCI GoldenGate and Azure Data Lake for data solutions.
  • Implement monitoring, metrics, and alerting with Oracle Cloud tools and Dynatrace.
  • Support disaster recovery across Azure, OCI, and on-premises environments.
  • Deliver work using Agile practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

We are recruiting for a senior API Integration Engineer / API Developer in a core banking environment for a direct banking client. The role combines cloud and platform engineering across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Core Banking, and Azure. It is based in Vienna, Virginia, with remote work and onsite attendance three times per week. The engagement is long-term and ongoing, with no stated end date. The targeted rate is $75–$85 per hour; the final offer may depend on skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
