Apigee Developer / Admin (US Citizens Only)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software or platform engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on Google Apigee experience (Edge and/or Hybrid) in enterprise production environments.
• Demonstrated success designing, developing, and managing large-scale API solutions.
• Strong expertise with Apigee Edge and Hybrid, including core architecture components such as the Edge Management Server, Router, Message Processor, analytics services, Developer Portal, Cassandra, and ZooKeeper.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot the Apigee stack, from API proxy and shared-flow development to tracing and platform services.
• Experience building API proxies and shared flows, traffic-management policies, target servers, route rules, KVMs, caching, and message logging.
• Apigee administration experience, including platform monitoring, upgrades, patching, capacity planning, performance tuning, Kubernetes-based Hybrid deployments, and full-stack troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT validation and generation, API key management, TLS/mTLS, and Apigee authentication and authorization policies.
• Experience integrating API gateways with enterprise identity providers such as PingFederate or Okta for SSO and federated OAuth/JWT validation.
• Familiarity with firewalls, DNS, load balancers, and WAF/CDN services such as Akamai in API routing and threat protection.
• Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code experience is desirable.
• Kubernetes/GKE experience for Apigee Hybrid is desirable.
• Akamai CDN integration experience is desirable.
