Apparel Designer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field preferred
• Bilingual in Urdu/Hindu
• Recent graduate or up to one year of apparel design experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, textiles, fabrics, and apparel manufacturing
• Excellent illustration, sketching, and visual presentation abilities
• Passion for fashion, product design, and trend forecasting
• Familiarity with social media, online shopping trends, and consumer behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Curiosity about emerging technologies, AI tools, and digital design platforms
• Preferred: Experience with CLO 3D, Browzwear, or similar 3D product design software
• Preferred: Knowledge of sourcing, product development, and manufacturing workflows
• Preferred: Portfolio featuring apparel design projects, technical illustrations, and creative problem-solving
• Preferred: Knowledge of U.S. fashion trends, retail markets, and consumer purchasing behavior

Responsibilities:

• Research fashion trends, color palettes, fabrics, silhouettes, and emerging consumer preferences
• Track social media platforms, influencers, and online marketplaces to spot product opportunities
• Develop mood boards, trend presentations, seasonal concepts, and color stories
• Create apparel sketches, technical drawings, CADs, and product specifications
• Work with Product Development and Merchandising teams throughout product creation
• Conduct competitive research to find product gaps and opportunities for innovation
• Take part in sample reviews, fit sessions, and product refinements
• Keep design files, specifications, and documentation organized
• Explore technologies and digital tools that can support design innovation and efficiency
