Application Engineer

Requirements:

• We prefer a bachelors degree in a related engineering discipline.
• We require at least one year of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• We are looking for an engineering professional with suitable industry or academic background.
• We need someone who is customer-service oriented and can respond effectively to both technical and non-technical questions from customers and employees.
• We value the ability to manage a varied, fast-moving workload and meet project-related customer demands.
• We are seeking a well-organized, self-directed team player.
• We need proficiency with a range of computer applications, including vendor-specific software.

Responsibilities:

• We build and maintain the product and application knowledge needed to support internal teams and external customers in our assigned market.
• We keep sales and management informed about major projects and assist office and warehouse teams with application and product details.
• We provide product training for customers and employees, along with technical support during sales calls.
• We deliver technical sales and marketing support to our customers and staff.
• We prepare high-quality quotations tailored to each customer or account manager application.
• We accurately price work, confirm contractual commitments, and review internal costs, agency sales, and stock or drop-ship orders.
• We continue developing product and application expertise to better serve customers and our sales team.
• We assist with planning and participate in trade shows as needed.
• We may handle additional duties as assigned.
