Application Engineer - Software Development

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Over 5 years of experience with fasteners, industrial components, or specialty metals
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, ASME, and aerospace or military specifications
• Expertise in interpreting mechanical drawings and understanding manufacturing processes
• Highly organized, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical engineering support to our sales team and customer base
• Interpret complex mechanical drawings, specifications, and material requirements
• Develop quotes, evaluate vendor options, and ensure technical precision
• Act as the primary technical liaison for both new and existing clients
• Manage multiple projects across various industries such as aerospace, chemical, and defense
