Associate System Engineer - Infrastructure Design Support

Requirements:

• Experience with monitoring, installing, configuring, debugging, administering, troubleshooting, and maintaining technology solutions
• Ability to provide technical support and use scripting or programming to support stable, efficient technology operations

Responsibilities:

• Install, monitor, test, configure, migrate, maintain, and troubleshoot assigned technologies
• Manage system and application environments and ongoing operations
• Keep technologies current, stable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture and application standards
• Research, design, implement, and test technology solutions
• Monitor and report on technology performance and utilization
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and failures
• Resolve alerts and carry out remediation activities
• Manage problem and escalated tickets, tasks, and out-of-cycle requests from system and software owners
• Collect and present data for reporting and planning
• Help develop strategies, processes, and procedures for systems and application administration
• Assess migration and upgrade impacts, and diagnose and resolve complex technology and application errors
• Work with IT and business partners on work groups and initiatives, and determine appropriate approaches to meet business needs
• Write programs and scripts
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and exercises
• Ensure work aligns with architectural standards and blueprints
• Perform on-call duties as needed for the environment and technologies
