Automation & Integration Developer

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of hands-on development experience building integrations, automations, or applications.
• Experience developing on a major CRM or low-code platform such as Salesforce, or the ability to ramp up quickly on Salesforce from a comparable platform.
• Practical experience building integrations with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
• Strong coding fundamentals in at least one language, such as Python, JavaScript, Apex, or SQL, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Understanding of modern system architecture, including how CRM platforms, cloud services such as AWS, APIs, and data flows work together.
• Strong problem-solving ability, including breaking down ambiguous challenges and choosing an appropriate approach.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency with AI and large language model tools, with a habit of using them to work efficiently.
• Self-motivation and adaptability, with the ability to own work end to end on a small team.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred: Salesforce development experience with Apex or Lightning Web Components, or Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Administrator.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
• Preferred: Experience staging data in a SQL database, such as Azure SQL, for reporting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with IT security fundamentals, including access control, identity management, and secure API practices.
• Preferred: Experience in travel, aviation, transportation, or another high-volume operational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between internal and external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
• Create and maintain automations that streamline business operations using workflow tools, serverless functions, and scheduled jobs.
• Develop and extend functionality in our Salesforce environment using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and validation rules.
• Identify opportunities to improve, modernize, and simplify systems and processes, then implement changes reliably.
• Manage development work from initial scoping through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Support the data layer used for reporting by maintaining data quality, consistency, and integrity across integrations.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards as needed, using modern AI tools to support efficient analysis.
• Contribute to developing AI-driven business solutions.
