Automation Engineer - Robotics & Software

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in automation engineering or robotics
• Proficiency in programming FANUC robots
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems (ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and motion control technologies
• Familiarity with safety standards and electrical codes

Responsibilities:

• Program and troubleshoot FANUC robotic systems, including setup, path programming, and integration with automation equipment
• Develop and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC programs and related hardware
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate robotics and motion control systems
• Diagnose and resolve equipment problems, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Manage automation projects from conception to commissioning, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support production teams with process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain system documentation, including schematics and code backups
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
