Business Analyst

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors or masters degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• We are looking for 5+ years of experience in business analysis and requirements documentation.
• Strong background in requirements elicitation and process analysis is needed.
• Experience with MS Visio for process mapping, workflows, and context diagrams is required.
• Familiarity with as-is/to-be analysis and gap analysis is required.
• Experience preparing business cases, use cases, and technical specifications is required.
• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid SDLC environments is required.
• Experience supporting data migration and QA, including functional, regression, and integration testing, is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
• Experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams is required.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for user stories and backlog management is required.
• Strong stakeholder and subject matter expert facilitation skills, along with executive-level communication skills, are required.
• Experience supporting system modernization, remediation, and migration planning is required.
• Experience with FDOT or the Florida Administrative Code is a plus.
• Exposure to Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• We will gather and document business requirements in support of project delivery.
• We will analyze current-state and future-state processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
• We will create process maps, workflows, and context diagrams using MS Visio.
• We will develop business cases, use cases, and technical documentation.
• We will work within Agile or hybrid delivery environments to support SDLC activities.
• We will assist with data migration efforts and support QA activities, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• We will manage and refine user stories and backlogs in Azure DevOps.
• We will facilitate discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to align on requirements and solutions.
• We will support system modernization, remediation, and migration planning initiatives.
• We will use Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams to coordinate analysis and documentation work.

We are seeking a Business Analyst for an onsite role in Tallahassee, FL, with a schedule of five days per week and a duration of 9+ months with a possible extension. The interview process includes a Microsoft meeting followed by a mandatory face-to-face interview due to the onsite requirement. This role is eligible for W2 candidates only, and we are seeking US citizens and green card holders. Experience with FDOT or the Florida Administrative Code is considered a plus, and Power BI exposure is preferred.
