Requirements:
- Bachelors degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in cryptography.
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud-native technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- At least 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience.
- At least 2 years of SELinux experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with Protegrity Data Protection solutions.
- At least 2 years of DevOps experience using Ansible Automation Platform.
- At least 2 years of experience using Terraform Enterprise.
- Preferred: 7 or more years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
- Preferred: 3 or more years of coding and scripting experience with languages such as Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, or Ruby.
- Preferred: 4 or more years of experience with the Protegrity Data Protection platform.
- Preferred: 2 or more years of experience with Linux file system concepts, including Fuse, GPFS, and NFS.
- Preferred: 2 or more years of experience with Linux storage subsystems, clustering, high availability, fault tolerance, and replication.
- Preferred: 3 or more years of experience with DevOps principles and Agile development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and work with developers and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Keep current with technology trends, test new technologies, and mentor engineering team members.
- Partner with cybersecurity product managers and architects to develop cloud-based security solutions.
- Assess security risks, identify vulnerabilities, and evaluate the effects of cryptographic cyber threats.
- Design and implement encryption, hashing, and digital signature algorithms to safeguard sensitive data.
- Develop and improve enterprise cryptography governance frameworks.
- Serve as the lead subject matter expert for a mission-critical data protection environment using Protegrity solutions.
- Use Ansible Automation Framework to manage a large RHEL server environment.
- Use Terraform Enterprise for AWS serverless deployments and integrations with Protegrity Cloud Protector.
- Implement Protegrity Fuse File Encryption for data-at-rest protection.
- Maintain and improve Protegrity Data Protection policies.
- Manage integrations with data platforms such as Snowflake and Teradata.
