Cybersecurity Specialist

Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship
• Active or recent U.S. government Top Secret security clearance
• At least five years of server or network administration experience, preferably in a Department of Defense facility
• Microsoft and/or Cisco certification
• CompTIA CySA+ or CASP+ certification
• Desired proficiency with RMF, eMASS, ACAS, ATCTS, MECM, Nessus, and Active Directory
• Must meet government eligibility requirements for access to classified information; hire dates depend on issuance of an interim or final government security clearance
• Offers are contingent on successful professional reference checks, employment history verification, and background screening

Responsibilities:

• Maintain ACAS scanning solutions across unclassified and classified networks
• Produce reports from ACAS scan data to support network security
• Use PowerShell to automate tasks and develop efficiency-enhancing tools
• Support RMF audits using eMASS
• Analyze ACAS scan data to identify vulnerabilities and support remediation
• Document and report vulnerabilities across both networks
• Maintain documentation for system security plans, lifecycle management, continuous monitoring plans, security assessment plans and reports, and risk assessments
• Provide IT security engineering support and guidance on DoD and Army cyber compliance
