Data Visualization Developer

Requirements:

• 6–8 years of experience in data visualization or BI development
• Hands-on expertise with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud
• Proficiency with Tableau features including calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, actions, and performance tuning
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation and automation
• Solid understanding of BI concepts, data modeling, and SQL
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with additional BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik is preferred
• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure is preferred
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline concepts is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations
• Turn business requirements into intuitive, actionable data stories
• Improve Tableau workbooks, data sources, and queries for performance and scalability
• Apply row-level security, governance standards, and Tableau best practices
• Publish and manage content on Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities
• Partner with BI and data engineering teams to support clean, reliable data pipelines
• Validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across sources
• Contribute to ETL and data modeling discussions to strengthen reporting foundations
• Use Python for data preparation, automation, and advanced analytics workflows
• Develop scripts to streamline data preparation and enhance visualizations
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, refine designs, and deliver impactful dashboards
• Clearly communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
