Digital Transformation Engineer

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and lead digital initiatives while influencing cross-functional teams.
• Adaptive communication skills and comfort working directly with shop floor personnel to build trust through regular engagement.
• Creative problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and build stakeholder support is preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary resource for platform questions, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Lead training for operators, supervisors, and salaried employees on deployment processes and best practices.
• Maintain a visible shop floor presence, support users, identify challenges, and encourage effective system use.
• Support deployment planning and readiness, go-live execution, and post-launch stabilization.
• Create and maintain standard work, training materials, job aids, and user documentation.
• Promote adoption, address resistance, and help teams transition to new ways of working.
• Coach employees and leaders on digital tools, process changes, and best practices to support lasting use.
• Gather user feedback and lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen platform effectiveness and user experience.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and IT on current and future digital transformation initiatives.
