Embedded Developer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Embedded C programming and Linux or operating systems.
• 5+ years of expertise in Wi-Fi standards and networking protocols.
• Basic knowledge of 5G/LTE technology.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Wi-Fi routers, cable modems, CMTS, OpenWrt, OpenSync, or RDK-B is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Wi-Fi radio configurations for Qualcomm, Broadcom, and Atheros chipsets across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands.
• Implement and troubleshoot Wi-Fi features such as band steering, client steering, and channel selection.
• Configure hostapd and wpa_supplicant, and develop OpenSync Wi-Fi managers for cloud-managed radio configuration.
• Investigate Wi-Fi driver crashes and firmware assertions to support performance and interoperability.
• Implement phone-as-backhaul connectivity and manage WAN outage detection frameworks.
• Design and debug embedded C software for Linux-based residential gateway platforms.
• Work with hardware teams, QA, and service provider partners to resolve field issues.
