Field Application Engineer

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Engineering, specifically BSME, BSIE, or BSEE.
• We require at least two years of experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment installation.
• Hydraulic systems experience is preferred.
• We require familiarity with hand and power tools.
• We require at least two years of experience using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of fluid power is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Field Application Engineer or in a similar technical position is preferred.
• We require strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• We spend much of our time working outside the office, traveling from site to site, including cross-country travel.
• We install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment or systems in line with specifications and safety standards.
• We perform routine maintenance and inspections to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
• We diagnose technical problems and identify suitable solutions.
• We provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• We maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and parts used.
• We ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• We communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members to support satisfaction.
• We provide production support through assembly and routine testing of products used in field applications.
• We assist the Product Division and Sales Department by resolving field issues, clarifying customer needs, and supporting technical product questions.
• We carry out other duties as assigned.
