Full Stack Developer

Requirements:

• Located in the Washington, DC area and able to hold a US federal security clearance.
• Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of JavaScript development experience, including client-side and server-side work.
• At least 5 years of full-stack development experience.
• At least 5 years of experience writing code in languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or C#.
• Professional certification(s) in a related web development, front-end, or back-end discipline.
• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery; front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Node.js; and back-end languages and frameworks such as Python, C#, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or Teradata, web servers such as Apache, and UI/UX design.
• Experience designing and integrating API architectures such as REST or gRPC.
• Experience managing servers and deployments in environments such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka or EventHub, version control tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub, and WebSockets.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns such as monoliths, microservices, serverless, and service mesh.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Scrum and Databricks is desired; UI/UX design experience is also desired.

Responsibilities:

• Work with data scientists and analysts to rapidly design, implement, test, and deploy applications that address complex analytical tasks using large datasets.
• Communicate with end users, the team lead, and team members to develop and support products and features.
• Engage with product users to improve products and troubleshoot issues.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Build visually appealing application front ends and responsive features.
• Develop effective APIs.
• Write technical documentation and support data governance strategy.
• Contribute within an Agile team environment.
