Full Stack Engineer

Requirements:

• We require strong expertise in Java, ideally versions 17 through 22, along with proficiency in JavaScript and SQL.
• We look for hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• We require practical knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Reactive development.
• We expect experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Git or GitLab.
• We need familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• We require experience applying Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development practices.
• We expect experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber, including API testing.
• We look for knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Event-Driven Architecture, and Reactive Programming.
• We require experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments.
• We need experience with release management and ALM tools such as Jira.
• We require excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• We need comfort working in a remote, regulated software development setting.
• We prefer candidates with 3+ years of SaaS product development experience or experience in an FDA-regulated or similarly regulated environment.
• We value experience in biomedical, healthcare, blood services, or life sciences domains.
• We welcome exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools such as Amazon Q or similar solutions.

Responsibilities:

• We design, build, test, deploy, release, and support a regulated SaaS solution within an agile engineering team.
• We develop and maintain innovative software that meets customer and business requirements.
• We participate across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through production support.
• We improve our CI/CD pipelines, development standards, and engineering practices through ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
• We promote and implement automation for testing, deployment, and monitoring wherever possible.
• We conduct code reviews to protect software quality, maintainability, and compliance with standards.
• We assess system enhancements and releases to understand their effects on business processes and end users.
• We collaborate closely with internal and external business, product, and technology partners.
• We maintain formal technical documentation and support validation needs in a regulated environment.
• We learn the business processes in depth so our technology solutions help drive business success.
• We mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
