Guidewire Business Analyst

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
• 3+ years of Guidewire experience, particularly with ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.
• Strong knowledge of claims handling and billing operations.
• Experience in commercial auto or trucking insurance, including familiarity with its regulatory environment.
• Ability to turn complex business processes into functional requirements and user stories.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and with JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with business and technical teams.
• Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship or transfer; sponsorship and transfer are not available for this position.
• Preferred: Guidewire ClaimCenter or BillingCenter certification; experience with Guidewire integrations, data migration, or configuration; familiarity with FMCSA, VIN lookup services, telematics, fleet safety systems, or other trucking data sources; and experience with digital portals, automation, or self-service initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements across claims, billing, and underwriting.
• Convert business needs into user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Support ClaimCenter processes, including first notice of loss, claims lifecycle management, payments, reserves, correspondence, and regulatory reporting.
• Support BillingCenter workflows covering billing plans, invoicing, payments, collections, commissions, and financial reconciliation.
• Assess gaps between legacy processes and Guidewire capabilities and help shape solution approaches.
• Provide secondary support for PolicyCenter work involving policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and servicing.
• Support integrations and data mapping between Guidewire and external platforms, including FMCSA data, telematics, fleet safety and driver risk systems, and document management platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, product owners, business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendor partners throughout Agile delivery.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning and reviews, user acceptance testing, and defect triage.
