Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of practical experience with SQL, DB2, Datacap, FileNet P8, and IBM Content Navigator; FileNet P8 and IBM Content Navigator experience are preferred.
  • Recent experience with IBM Content Navigator 3.0.7, Datacap 9.1.7 or 9.1.9, FileNet Content Process Engine 5.5.4, and DB2 11.5.
  • Expert-level ability to develop Datacap applications in Datacap Studio, configure IBM Content Navigator, and work with FileNet workflows.
  • Experience troubleshooting Datacap, IBM Content Navigator, and FileNet workflows, and optimizing Datacap and IBM Content Navigator threads for workload demands in an IBM environment.
  • Experience with barcodes such as UPC, QR, and Data Matrix, including best practices for their use.
  • Experience with Structured Query Language, preferably IBM DB2.
  • Degree in a technology-related field; a bachelors degree is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to actively contribute to discussions with IT professionals and managers and guide our efforts and learning.
  • Experience converting Web Magic (LOL) applications to IBM Content Navigator.
  • Experience with OCR for forms and mailing is desired.
  • English proficiency is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise-level Datacap applications.
  • Support our upgrade from Datacap 9.1.7 to 9.1.9 and migrate applications to the new environment.
  • Develop new applications for agency scanning and indexing needs.
  • Help transition from Web Task Master to IBM Content Navigator.
  • Apply expertise in Datacap Studio, IBM Content Navigator, DB2 I/O, and FileNet workflows to guide our work and support learning across the team.
