Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, CDI-PC, IICS/IDMC, Oracle SQL, and Unix
  • Ability to assess asset complexity and estimate conversion and testing effort
  • Ability to allocate work, guide team members, and improve conversion processes
  • Princeton-area local candidate able to attend an in-person interview

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze CDI-PC and PowerCenter assets, dependencies, runtime behavior, conversion readiness, and technical risks
  • Design and build corresponding IDMC/IICS assets, including mappings, tasks, task flows, connections, schedules, and parameters
  • Ensure migrated implementations preserve functional intent, transformation behavior, source-to-target rules, scheduling needs, and operational controls
  • Establish consistent configurations, naming standards, reusable patterns, and environment migration practices
  • Analyze complex transformations, assess differences between IDMC and PowerCenter, identify risks, and recommend compatible alternatives or remediation
  • Validate converted assets through unit testing, integration testing support, data reconciliation, defect triage, and production-readiness checks
  • Create or review Oracle SQL validation queries, compare source and target results, and use Informatica DVO where applicable
  • Troubleshoot issues using logs, runtime statistics, and failure patterns across Informatica, database, Unix, and file-handling layers
  • Estimate conversion and testing work, break it into tasks, and allocate work according to skills, complexity, and delivery priorities
  • Track progress, identify blockers, coordinate with functional teams, provide delivery status and risk updates, and recommend process improvements and reusable accelerators
