IT Audit Manager

Requirements:

• Recent experience performing SOX IT testing as a senior associate or manager.
• Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as COSO, COBIT, and ITIL.
• Experience with ERP environments and key applications relevant to financial reporting.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with audit or GRC tools.
• Ability to manage timelines across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• CISA, CPA, or CIA certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute SOX IT and application control testing using established methodologies.
• Evaluate IT controls covering change management, access management, operations, and interfaces.
• Conduct walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and document results with clear supporting evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess their impact, and support remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate timelines and scope with process owners, external auditors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries, and issue logs for leadership.
• Support risk assessments, scoping, and control rationalization.

We are seeking an IT Audit Manager for a remote client engagement supporting SOX testing. We can engage consultants on a W-2 or corp-to-corp basis. The stated W-2 hourly rate is $90–$95; pay may vary based on skills, experience, and other compensable factors.
