Requirements:
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices in the banking domain
- Proficiency in Core Java, Java 8/11/17+, Spring MVC, and Spring Cloud
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ, REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger
- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Banking or payments domain experience preferred, including exposure to core banking, digital payments, or fraud systems
- Understanding of PCI-DSS, encryption, and audit logging preferred
Responsibilities:
- Lead our backend development team
- Architect and design microservices using Spring Boot
- Drive technical delivery from end to end
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrations
- Improve microservice performance and scalability
- Ensure compliance with banking security standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Mentor junior engineers
