Requirements:

  • Strong programming experience with Core Java, Java 8+, object-oriented programming, collections, and multithreading
  • Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security
  • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices
  • Working knowledge of Hadoop technologies such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, and HBase
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or another cloud platform, such as Azure or GCP
  • Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with build and deployment tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and Git
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Preferred: 9+ years of experience
  • Preferred: Experience integrating Java applications with big data platforms
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Spark, Scala, or Python
  • Preferred: Experience with AWS-based data processing and distributed computing
  • Preferred: Understanding of application monitoring, logging, and performance tuning
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage
