Java eTrading Developer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend Java development experience in complex enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in multithreaded, low-latency systems and performance optimization
• Experience with modern Core Java; exposure to C++ or another performance-oriented language
• Familiarity with client-side technologies such as C# and with messaging or communication protocols, including TCP-based systems
• Previous exposure to electronic trading or real-time financial systems
• Good understanding of fixed-income or comparable capital-markets workflows
• Ability to collaborate with Front Office users in a demanding, time-sensitive environment
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or vendor solutions is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, multithreaded backend applications
• Maintain and enhance platform stability, scalability, and low-latency messaging
• Collaborate with business users to turn functional needs into robust technical solutions
• Support production activities and help ensure the trading platform remains reliable
• Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and ongoing platform improvements
• Take part in code reviews and encourage development best practices
