Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- 7+ years of IT experience with frontend and backend frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise in core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Experience with Angular or React.js.
- Strong skills in HTML and JavaScript, including cross-browser-compatible development.
- Understanding of AJAX, JavaScript DOM manipulation, MVVM/MVC frameworks, and single-page applications.
- Experience with JavaScript tools such as Node.js, Webpack, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, or JSLint.
- Experience writing automated unit tests using TDD and creating and running end-to-end test suites with Protractor or a suitable alternative.
- Knowledge of Java EE and Spring technologies, including Core, Security, and MVC.
- Experience with build automation tools such as Ant, Maven, or Gradle.
- Database query skills and experience with iterative and incremental development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with cloud and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, or EKS; CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ElectricFlow; PCF, GCP, Python; Unix shell scripting; or databases such as Oracle SQL/PLSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, RDS, or DynamoDB.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web interfaces and APIs using Java, JavaScript, Spring, and Angular.
- Write application code and unit and integration tests using tools such as JUnit, Spock, Jasmine, and Karma.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX design teams, and downstream systems.
- Build cloud-native applications with container technologies such as Docker and deploy them to OpenShift or AWS EKS.
- Support production releases, monitor applications, and resolve issues promptly.
- Lead solution architecture and delivery, working closely with the clients Enterprise Architect and Delivery Director on large-scale solutions leveraging generative AI.
