Requirements:
- 12+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial solution architecture background
- Must have served as a solution architect on at least 2 projects
- Strong banking domain experience
- Local to Pittsburgh, PA, or able to commute from a nearby drivable distance
- Experience in active coding roles
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade React applications
- Front-end expertise with React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, UI unit testing, custom React library development, and micro-front-end architecture
- Back-end experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Maven, microservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven design
- Experience with MS SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Java Spring Cloud, REST APIs, Kafka, MQ, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, OAuth2, API Gateway, Redis, and Agile/Scrum
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication skills are required
Responsibilities:
- Design and lead Java-based solution architecture for enterprise applications
- Build and support microservices, REST APIs, and related Spring-based services
- Develop and contribute hands-on code in both front-end and back-end technologies
- Work on React-based user interfaces, including custom libraries and micro-front-end solutions
- Apply domain-driven and event-driven design approaches
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum delivery teams
- Support integration with messaging, databases, cloud platforms, and DevOps toolchains
- Maintain active participation in coding and technical implementation
