Javascript Developer

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering background
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, HTTP semantics, integration patterns, and distributed system behavior
• Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, and proficiency with observability tools
• Experience in financial services, payments, or banking, with familiarity with ACH, wires, real-time payments, settlement, and returns
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and Python
• Experience with serverless architecture patterns
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Developer Associate or AWS Solutions Architect Associate
• Preference for experience with a modern technology stack rather than a traditional bank stack

Responsibilities:

• Investigate vendor APIs, platform behavior, and integration patterns to uncover gaps, undocumented constraints, and failure modes
• Create technical documentation, including sequence diagrams, error-flow mappings, API inventories, requirements specifications, and decision records
• Maintain current documentation for assigned workstreams as understanding develops and new information emerges
• Convert findings into actionable requirements for engineering, product, vendor, and operations teams
• Track work from observed behavior and business needs through documented requirements and implementation
• Define current- and future-state process flows, system and data interactions, control points, and exception scenarios for assigned payment experiences

The role provides systems-level ownership across concurrent initiatives involving vendor integrations, platform modernization, and payment-experience delivery, bridging engineering, product, operations, and external partners.
