Lead Azure Developer

Requirements:

• 7–10+ years of professional software development experience
• Significant hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft Azure and supporting production-grade cloud applications
• Strong backend development skills and software engineering fundamentals
• Experience leading technical initiatives and making architecture and design decisions
• Ability to mentor developers and provide technical direction
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
• Hands-on experience with several Azure and cloud technologies, such as Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid or Event Hubs, Storage, Azure SQL or Cosmos DB, Key Vault, Azure Monitor or Application Insights, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Azure DevOps and CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications and services on Azure
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions
• Design and implement solutions using Azure compute, storage, database, messaging, integration, and monitoring services
• Turn business and technical requirements into robust, scalable, maintainable solutions
• Provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through deployment and production support
• Conduct code reviews and uphold software engineering, security, performance, and coding standards
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Managers, DevOps, QA, Data Engineering, and other cross-functional teams
• Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and drive root-cause resolution
• Support CI/CD automation and cloud deployment processes
• Mentor and guide developers and help establish strong engineering practices and technical standards
• Assess new Azure capabilities and recommend technologies that improve scalability, reliability, and engineering efficiency
