Lead Python Developer

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django and Flask
• Hands-on experience building and deploying microservices
• Frontend development experience with Angular and React
• Experience with Artifactory for artifact storage and package management
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Jira workflows
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and build and release processes
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration patterns
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Bitbucket
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration
• Background in test automation, such as PyTest or Selenium
• Understanding of application development security best practices
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ELK, or Grafana
• Preferred: experience and interest in Agile practices such as pair programming and daily stand-ups
• Preferred: demonstrable knowledge of the candidates problem domain
• Preferred: strong communication skills and enthusiasm for learning new technologies
• Preferred: relevant banking, middle- or back-office, or finance industry experience

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Python, Django, and Flask
• Build and maintain microservices architectures for scalable systems
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular and React
• Manage artifacts with Artifactory and implement CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Use Jira for sprint planning, tracking, and reporting
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization
• Contribute to DevOps automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Use Bitbucket for source code management, as desired
