Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in automation testing, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Cypress and TypeScript
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, Node.js, and automation design patterns
- Experience with API automation tools such as Postman or equivalent
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and STLC
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Build and improve automation frameworks with Cypress and TypeScript
- Develop and run automated test scripts across UI, API, and integration layers
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitLab or Jenkins
- Work with development, QA, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Investigate and resolve automation issues to maintain reliable tests
- Follow best practices for automation architecture and code quality
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical leadership
