Requirements:
- At least 10 years of mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding
- Experience with COBOL (CICS), JCL, CICS, and CA7
Responsibilities:
- Follow security, control, Sarbanes-Oxley, and change-control processes
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe COBOL and JCL applications for support and project needs
- Partner with business and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and application code
- Coordinate with IT support teams, including EIA, DA/DBA, and server teams, to develop and implement support and project solutions
- Create and run unit and integration test plans and scripts to verify application changes against technical specifications
- Manage activities across the full system development life cycle
- Work with business teams on acceptance testing and take part in integration testing
- Participate in production support and pager-duty rotations, including weekend and off-hours coverage
- Produce Solution Delivery Methodology artifacts for application components
- Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages
