MECM Engineer

Requirements:

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Security+ certification or compliance with DoD 8570/IAT II requirements
• At least 10 years of relevant experience; a bachelors degree in an applicable field may substitute for 5 years of experience
• Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting Microsoft and third-party software updates
• Experience building and deploying application packages in SCCM 2012/MECM Current Branch
• Experience managing a large MECM infrastructure
• Experience managing Windows servers and workstations; mobile device experience is a plus
• Experience with Adaptiva OneSite/Client Health
• Experience working in a DoD environment
• Familiarity with STIG requirements, ITIL v4, and Agile Scrum methodologies
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Project, and Visio, as well as SharePoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow and Tanium
• Preferred: Ability to work independently to identify and resolve problems

Responsibilities:

• Help design and implement the MECM/Intune solution for the Department of the Air Force (DAF)
• Ensure the solution design can scale to meet the DAFs needs and growth
• Establish industry best-practice procedures for routine and zero-day patch management
• Deploy applications and updates according to defined criteria
• Resolve failed patch and application deployments and patching conflicts
• Create documentation and standard operating procedures for new processes and manual tasks to support handoffs and cross-training
• Operate and maintain the enterprise MECM infrastructure
• Track applicable SLAs and SLRs and provide required reports
• Work with DAF enterprise and program security teams to meet requirements within established timeframes
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues

You will join a team engineering and implementing an enterprise Unified Endpoint Management solution for Windows and approved bring-your-own devices.
