Network Engineer, Headquarters

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
• At least 7 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure
• Strong background in data center networking, including routing, switching, and network architecture principles
• Experience supporting Cisco Nexus 9000 or comparable enterprise data center switching platforms
• Experience with software-defined networking, preferably VMware NSX
• Experience supporting application delivery and load balancing solutions, including F5 LTM/GTM (GSLB) and/or NSX Advanced Load Balancer (AVI)
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, and IP address management platforms, preferably Infoblox
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and deliver infrastructure enhancements in complex enterprise environments
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities

Responsibilities:

• Design, assess, test, and implement solutions across our core technology stack, including Cisco Nexus, VMware NSX, AVI Load Balancing, F5 GSLB/LTM, and Infoblox DDI
• Lead major infrastructure rollouts, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management efforts
• Ensure network services meet operational needs for availability, scalability, performance, security, monitoring, automation, and supportability
• Build and maintain automation solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and standardize infrastructure management
• Work with architecture, engineering, security, and operations teams to create resilient and scalable network designs
• Troubleshoot and drive resolution for complex network and application delivery issues
• Act as a technical escalation contact for critical incidents and platform challenges
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and architectural standards
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across network infrastructure programs
• Collaborate with vendors to assess new technologies, resolve operational concerns, and help shape product direction where appropriate
• Advise leadership on technology strategy, platform lifecycle planning, and operational improvements
