PL/SQL Developer

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle database environments
• Advanced PL/SQL development skills and expertise designing database objects
• Daily proficiency with Toad, Oracle SQL Developer, or similar database tools
• Strong experience with logical and physical data modeling and database normalization
• Hands-on experience developing REST/SOAP integrations and complex data migration scripts
• Proven experience supporting or integrating vendor-hosted or COTS enterprise applications

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects, including tables, views, indexes, and triggers
• Build and maintain high-performance PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
• Develop and use REST/SOAP web services to support secure data exchange between internal applications and vendor-hosted COTS systems
• Lead logical and physical data modeling, normalization, and data migration or conversion for implementations and upgrades
• Work with DBAs on query tuning and code reviews, analyze metadata, and uphold data integrity and agency standards
• Investigate complex data issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Contribute to technical design, estimation, and project planning
• Collaborate with Data Architects, DBAs, and vendors to integrate agency-specific data with vendor-hosted COTS solutions
