Platform Engineer - Kubernetes

Requirements:

• Were looking for at least 3 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, ideally with on-premises environments.
• You bring deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration.
• You have experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines.
• You understand Kubernetes security best practices.
• You have strong scripting skills, such as Bash or Python.
• You have working knowledge of Kubernetes storage and networking.
• You can diagnose and resolve complex problems quickly.
• You communicate and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Build, operate and maintain highly available, high-performance on-premises Kubernetes clusters.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes using our in-house tools.
• Partner with engineering teams to design and build CI/CD pipelines for on-premises environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and tune clusters to support reliability and performance.
• Apply Kubernetes security best practices, including RBAC, network policies and secrets management.
• Develop automation to manage infrastructure and maintain consistency across clusters.
• Optimize the storage and networking configurations that support our clusters.
• Manage cluster upgrades, backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Track developments in Kubernetes and on-premises infrastructure, bringing relevant improvements into our environment.
