Requirements:

Strong skills in Python, API design and development, SQL, Spark, AWS services, and job orchestration tools such as Step Functions or Airflow
Familiarity with modern application architecture and design patterns, including applying them in moderately complex domains
Ability to work independently on straightforward software implementations and contribute to more complex work using established standards and practices
Effective, proactive communication with technical, product, vendor, and enterprise stakeholders

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions
Use programming languages, open-source technologies, relational and NoSQL databases, containers, and AWS services, with a focus on serverless initiatives
Build a fully featured local build and deployment pipeline, improve existing pipelines, and troubleshoot complex pipeline issues
Teach colleagues about architecture and design patterns and when to apply them
Debug issues across backend, frontend, middleware, infrastructure, databases, and pipelines, from local development through production and across distributed systems
Identify root causes, implement fixes, and correct affected data
Develop features that improve the user experience, addressing relevant non-functional requirements with minimal direction
