QA Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• Experience in EDA automation and test framework development
• Strong scripting and software development skills
• Experience managing large-scale data and organizing filesystems
• Ability to parse structured and unstructured data and work with language processing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and/or Kubernetes
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, C/C++, or SKILL
• Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys ICValidator (ICV), Siemens (Mentor) Calibre, or KLayout
• A portfolio of automation work and demonstrated expertise in test framework development
• Preferred: experience with gdsfactory or similar layout autogeneration tools, Kubernetes container orchestration, additional EDA tools, or semiconductor and microelectronics QA/testing
• Preferred: familiarity with Python, C/C++, SKILL, PxL, or SVRF

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive regression tests and test cases for full PDK Deck quality assurance before release
• Build robust processes and infrastructure for managing QA workflows and large volumes of generated test data
• Organize test data and filesystems, and support data parsing and language-processing workflows
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and test orchestration, and track test results
• Develop layout autogeneration workflows, including those using gdsfactory
• Deliver automated regression test frameworks and case libraries
• Build data pipeline infrastructure for test execution and results management
• Create process documentation and tooling for PDK validation workflows
• Integrate testing with CI/CD systems for seamless execution

We are seeking a dedicated QA Automation Contractor to address operational needs in the process and data management required to generate, organize, and validate large volumes of test data. The role focuses on strengthening QA workflow infrastructure ahead of PDK Deck release; the current gap is not in creating Evaluation Cells or performing layout regression.
