Requirements:
- 6 years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience developing automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Preferred: Knowledge of performance testing with JMeter or LoadRunner; experience with Docker and containerized test execution; exposure to AWS or Azure; understanding of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber; or experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets
- Nice to have: Experience migrating Selenium frameworks to Playwright, accessibility testing experience, security testing awareness, or ISTQB certification
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright
- Create and execute automated scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Build reusable automation components and enhance framework capabilities
- Perform UI, API, and database validation testing
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect triage
- Support software quality through continuous testing and process improvement
- Maintain automation reports, test metrics, and quality dashboards
