QA Engineer

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• We look for at least 5 years of product engineering experience.
• We require a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience supervising engineers or technicians.
• We need strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• We expect proficiency with Minitab and quality management tools.
• We require experience with root cause analysis, 8D corrective actions, PFMEA, and CAPA.
• We need the ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• We look for strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• We require strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• CQE certification is preferred.
• Experience with SMT or failure analysis manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.
• Candidates should live within approximately 30 minutes of Fort Worth Alliance / ZIP 76177.

Responsibilities:

• We oversee quality control activities throughout production.
• We monitor First Pass Yield and other quality performance indicators.
• We ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• We work with QC inspectors and cross-functional teams to resolve defects.
• We analyze quality data to identify recurring issues and trends.
• We lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• We track and close 8D corrective actions.
• We lead and update PFMEA and process documentation.
• We respond to customer quality concerns and support timely resolution.
• We collaborate with design teams to ensure products are compatible with manufacturing processes.
• We monitor quality, efficiency, and productivity KPIs.
• We support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

We are Central Texas Recruiting and we are seeking a QA Engineer to support quality assurance and continuous improvement in an electronics manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, on-site role in Fort Worth, TX with a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 per year. The position is focused on improving product quality and customer satisfaction through close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and design teams.
