QA Engineer - Playwright Automation

Requirements:

• 6–8 years of QA or test engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Playwright experience
• E-commerce testing experience, particularly with cart and checkout flows
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or Zephyr
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and Agile delivery
• Comfortable building and working within an automation framework, not only executing existing scripts
• Experience using AI tools in QA or test automation
• Tosca experience is a plus, but not required; experience migrating between automation frameworks is also beneficial
• Exposure to BI, SCM, or UiPath environments is beneficial
• Must be a U.S. citizen, a green card holder, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must live within driving distance of Miramar, Florida; Dallas, Texas; Minneapolis; Seattle; or Atlanta

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright
• Support the migration of existing Tosca test assets to Playwright
• Test e-commerce cart, checkout, payment, and related purchase workflows end to end
• Create and manage test cases, defects, and results in JIRA and/or Zephyr
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and the QA team to define test strategy and coverage
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

We are hiring a QA Engineer III for a remote, contract-to-permanent role supporting e-commerce cart and checkout testing. The work is expected to be approximately 80% automation and 20% functional testing, with the possibility of an even greater focus on automation. Our team is transitioning its automation framework from Tosca to Playwright, and this role will contribute to that effort by building reliable test coverage for customer-facing purchase flows.
