Quality Assurance Analyst

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with Mainframe, MVS COBOL, JCL, software testing, and creating test scenarios
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptability, flexibility, self-motivation, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively under stress and collaborate as part of a team
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Preferred: experience with SQL, Serena ChangeMan, or Excel as a testing tool; ISTQB certification

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project team members to test coding changes to Medicaid systems and related data
• Create test scenarios, execute tests, and validate system changes
• Analyze test results and investigate differences between actual and expected outcomes
• Work with project team members to resolve discrepancies found during testing
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users
• Participate in testing with users, external healthcare providers, and trading partners as needed
• Coordinate with other agencies and internal subsystems
• Assist with business, process, and technical documentation
• Communicate and collaborate with technical staff and other contracted personnel
• Adapt to changing needs and contribute to project goals with minimal supervision
