Remote Mortgage Servicing Complaint Analyst

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelors degree in business, finance, legal studies, risk management, compliance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• At least 3 years of mortgage industry experience, with knowledge of origination and servicing operations
• Experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, audit, risk management, quality control, or a related function
• Experience identifying compliance risks and recommending process or control improvements
• Strong understanding of federal and state requirements for residential mortgage origination and servicing
• Knowledge of consumer complaint management, privacy compliance, regulatory examinations, and compliance controls
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaborative business applications
• Ability to research and interpret regulations and translate requirements into practical business solutions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess regulatory and industry changes that affect mortgage origination and servicing
• Analyze new requirements for business impact, compliance risk, and operational changes
• Work with business teams to implement regulatory updates and maintain compliance
• Advise on mortgage servicing, origination, consumer protection, and compliance requirements
• Research and respond to escalated consumer complaints, regulatory inquiries, and servicing requests
• Support regulatory response processes and maintain appropriate documentation
• Assist with consumer privacy requests and related compliance activities
• Support regulatory examinations, audits, monitoring, issue remediation, and compliance reviews
• Identify ways to strengthen compliance controls, workflows, reporting, and operations
• Take part in cross-functional compliance and regulatory implementation initiatives
• Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and supporting materials for leadership and regulatory activities
• Serve as a compliance resource for business partners and help resolve day-to-day regulatory questions
