Remote Product Tester

Requirements:

• No prior experience is required.
• Able to follow specific instructions, with strong attention to detail and curiosity.
• Available to work 15–25 hours per week and maintain an agreed routine.
• Access to a computer, reliable internet, and a digital camera or camera-equipped phone.
• Honest and reliable; good communication skills are an asset.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities:

• Document each in-home usage test as directed, which may include screenshots, audio or video recordings, and product journal entries.
• Handle and use test products responsibly.
• Follow the projects daily schedule, including any assigned unpacking, instruction reading, journaling, feedback, product use, review writing, or photography.
• Use mobile testing technology when a project requires it.
• Participate in private research chat rooms when requested.
• Write project reviews according to the provided schedule.

We are Online Consumer Panels America, a consulting firm that conducts local and national in-home product testing and product development research for companies and market research firms. We are recruiting independent contractors across the US for upcoming projects, with remote work and flexible hours suitable for entry-level, seasonal, temporary, or part-time work. We guarantee 15–25 hours per week, with project-based pay of $25–$45 per hour, and pay weekly on Wednesdays by direct deposit or cheque. Applying and participating are free; we cover product and shipping costs, and testers can often keep the products they evaluate. During the application process, partner research firms may use questionnaires to assess consumer profiles and match participants with suitable projects.
