  • Ability to work on-site in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
  • Preferred: Experience migrating from SAP Business ByDesign to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting SAP Concur Expenses and Avalara tax integrations; Vertex experience is an alternative to Avalara experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage SAP implementation and support vendors, including priorities, scope, deliverables, timelines, service performance, and issue follow-through. Set acceptance criteria and validate demonstrations, configuration changes, and proposed solutions with business owners.
  • Lead our internal transition from SAP Business ByDesign to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, coordinating requirements, end-to-end business testing, user training and adoption, cutover readiness, business sign-off, and post-launch support.
  • Coordinate data preparation, mapping, validation, and reconciliation for inventory, open orders, work in process, received-not-invoiced balances, and financial balances. Work with business owners and vendors to support continuity and continued access to historical records.
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities to make better use of ERP capabilities, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Maintain and prioritize an improvement backlog with business stakeholders, assessing opportunities by value, risk, effort, and alignment with our enterprise application roadmap.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain reports and dashboards that inform operational decisions.
  • Partner with business process owners to assess requirements against standard SAP capabilities, identify process standardization opportunities, and guide requests for more efficient workflows.
  • Support SAP Concur Expenses, Avalara, and other connected enterprise and corporate applications. Monitor ERP interfaces and data transfers, and coordinate investigation and resolution of integration and transaction failures.
  • Maintain functional ownership of our enterprise application integration landscape, including interface documentation, monitoring, issue coordination, dependency management, and vendor accountability.
  • Administer user access and roles, perform routine system configuration, maintain documentation, and coordinate release testing and vendor-led changes.
  • Coordinate with business owners to maintain accurate material, BOM, supplier, customer, pricing, and planning data, including ownership and validation standards.
  • Support MRP, production orders, inventory allocation, serial traceability, quality workflows, and engineering changes in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.

More

We are Sherman + Reilly, a Quanta Services company, and we are seeking a SAP Enterprise Applications Analyst for our Enterprise Application Support team. The role supports SAP Business ByDesign and related applications, including SAP Concur Expenses and Avalara, and coordinates our transition to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. It is an application administration, configuration, business-support, and vendor-management position rather than a developer role. The analyst works with Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations; business departments retain ownership of their data, policies, and final approval of changes. This is an on-site position in Chattanooga, Tennessee, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility within our operating hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Travel is expected to be limited. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. Our equipment supports utility infrastructure, and our Chattanooga location is known for quality of life, outdoor recreation, and a lower cost of living than major metro markets. We offer the stability and benefits of a large organization alongside the culture and decision-making speed of a smaller team.
