SAP ETD Consultant (SC-Cleared)

Requirements:

• Direct experience with SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (SAP ETD)
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk or IBM QRadar
• Knowledge of SAP configuration and implementation
• Understanding of systems integration, interfaces, connectivity and data flows
• Experience connecting enterprise applications or infrastructure to SIEM or security monitoring platforms
• Ability to investigate technical issues
• Active and valid SC-Level or DV-Level Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD) and associated SAP environments
• Support the technical and functional implementation of SAP security monitoring capabilities
• Explore and validate configuration options, integration models and system architectures within a controlled sandbox environment
• Integrate SAP instances with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
• Investigate how SAP security events, logs and related data are generated, collected, transferred and monitored
• Test connectivity and data flows between SAP systems and external security monitoring tools
• Troubleshoot configuration, connectivity and integration issues
• Collaborate with SAP, cybersecurity, infrastructure and technical architecture teams
• Document configurations, test results, integration dependencies and implementation recommendations
• Support the transition from initial testing and proof of concept through to implementation and operational readiness

We are seeking an SAP ETD Consultant to join our team and work on a project that includes our defence portfolio, helping configure solutions, explore technical capabilities and validate how systems connect and exchange security-related information. The role is based in Reading, with work on site four days per week. It is inside IR35, and rates are flexible depending on experience.
