Senior Automation Tester

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM field
• At least 6 years of experience with automated unit and integration testing
• Financial domain experience
• Hands-on experience with API/XML testing and Selenium with Java
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Experience with front-end and back-end testing using Java and Selenium
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methods, and coordinating onsite/offshore work
• In-depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle, particularly testing models, methodologies, and processes

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests to help ensure software product quality
• Partner with team members to understand software requirements and validate functionality through automated testing, accounting for privacy and security requirements
• Apply software development and testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
• Maintain traceability from user stories through test cases to automated scripts
• Identify environmental and test data dependencies
• Develop applications and create unit test cases to verify compliance with functional requirements

We are a national staffing firm recruiting a Senior Automation Tester for a prominent client. The role is hybrid and based in Jersey City, New Jersey, or Dallas, Texas; local candidates only. The assignment is expected to last at least six months, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position. The hourly pay range is $55–$75 in Jersey City and $50–$75 in Dallas.
