Senior CNO Developer

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Systems Security Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
• Relevant experience developing software for Computer Network Operations (CNO), cyber operations, or cloud environments
• Strong systems software development experience and knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as C, C++, Java, or Python
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software systems
• Strong understanding of software architecture, operating systems, networking, and distributed computing
• Experience across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• One of the following education and experience combinations: a masters degree with 10 years of relevant experience; a bachelors degree with 12 years; or an associates degree or high school diploma with 16 years
• Preferred: experience with embedded systems, cloud-native applications, Intelligence Community or Department of War programs, secure software development, cybersecurity best practices, or Agile environments
• Preferred: strong written and verbal communication, effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and commitment to continuous learning and emerging technologies

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, test, and maintain systems-level software, operating system components, network distribution software, and enterprise applications
• Analyze software requirements and translate mission needs into scalable technical solutions
• Build secure, reliable, high-performance software for CNO, cyber operations, and cloud environments
• Design and implement architectures for distributed systems and enterprise-scale applications
• Test, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize software to support system reliability and efficiency
• Work with software engineers, system architects, cybersecurity professionals, and mission stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
• Produce technical documentation, software specifications, and design artifacts, applying computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to complex challenges
• Support software modernization and ensure solutions meet security, quality, and operational requirements
