Senior Data Architect / Data Modeler

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience designing high-performance Operational Data Stores (ODS) and near-real-time data warehouses, with strong knowledge of Kimball and Inmon modeling methodologies.
• 12+ years of hands-on data analysis and modeling experience in financial services, including accounts, credit and debit cards, payments, and digital transaction processing.
• Proven ability to develop enterprise data models, including conceptual, logical, physical, and entity-relationship models, with hands-on Erwin experience.
• Advanced SQL, data analysis, database design, and performance tuning skills across technologies such as Oracle Exadata, MongoDB, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Expert hands-on experience developing and tuning Snowflake solutions, including building pipelines, coding stored procedures, and setting up data sharing.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to create complex Power BI dashboards.
• Expert Excel and Client skills, including experience writing complex macros to accelerate data analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex, matrixed environment and managing multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to assess existing data landscapes, interpret analysis, identify trends and issues, and establish data standards that support business objectives.
• Independent judgment and creative problem-solving skills for developing data solutions in large, complex environments.
• Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with partners, meet business SLAs, and deliver work to expectations.
• Functional knowledge of financial services and experience supporting a robust risk and control environment.
• Ability to coach, train, and mentor junior staff.
