Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience administering enterprise Dataiku DSS, including Design and Automation nodes.
  • Strong Python skills and experience using Dataiku REST APIs or SDKs for administration and automation.
  • Proven experience with Dataiku bundles, Deployer, deployment workflows, and automated promotion across multiple environments.
  • Experience managing connections, code environments, plugins, project permissions, and Project Standards.
  • Background implementing automated validation, governance controls, and production deployment checks.
  • Strong AWS and Snowflake integration skills, including connectivity, authentication, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Linux or Unix administration, scripting, log analysis, production support, and root-cause analysis.
  • Understanding of enterprise security, role-based access control, API keys, secrets management, and secure integration practices.
  • Ability to lead technical implementations independently and collaborate across infrastructure, security, operations, and business teams.
  • Preferred: Experience with HashiCorp Vault, Fortanix, Okta or Active Directory, and identity lifecycle automation.
  • Preferred: Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Preferred: Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
  • Preferred: ServiceNow integration and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Preferred: Microsoft SharePoint Online certificate-based authentication and integration experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with dbt, Snowflake Cortex AI, data lineage, and enterprise data marketplace integration.
  • Preferred: Dataiku plugin development, advanced deployment automation, and data quality frameworks.
  • Preferred: Experience with Tesseract OCR, parallel processing, or document-processing workloads.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Dataiku DSS Design and Automation nodes, including connections, code environments, plugins, permissions, and platform settings.
  • Plan and lead platform upgrades, support their execution, and improve platform stability and performance.
  • Investigate complex platform issues by analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and implementing fixes and hardening measures.
  • Develop Python and Dataiku API-based automation to promote projects from Design through Deployer to Automation.
  • Automate bundle creation, publishing, deployment, configuration validation, and post-deployment health checks.
  • Check connections, code environments, plugin versions, deployment bundles, and Project Standards before releases, blocking releases when critical checks fail.
  • Implement governance as code through Project Standards, automated data quality checks, and production-readiness controls.
  • Improve automation reliability through structured logging, error handling, credential management, and repeatable execution patterns.
  • Automate user, team, connection, and functional-account onboarding and offboarding using Dataiku APIs.
  • Support migration to Okta or Active Directory group-based access and automate the removal of obsolete access.
  • Integrate HashiCorp Vault for secure API key retrieval and work with Information Security on Fortanix tokenization and field-level encryption.
  • Maintain certificate-based authentication for Microsoft SharePoint Online and manage credential rotation.
  • Build and maintain Dataiku integrations with Snowflake and AWS for enterprise data products and governed patterns.
  • Automate data product deployments, including connection checks, permissions, and post-deployment verification.
  • Support integrations with dbt, Snowflake Cortex AI, Dataiku data lineage, and the enterprise Data Exchange marketplace.
  • Connect platform monitoring and pipeline failure notifications with ServiceNow to strengthen incident management.
  • Automate license reclamation, cleanup of unused projects and scenarios, disabled-user cleanup, and configuration checks.
  • Create documentation, operational procedures, and repeatable support practices, including enablement for Finance users.
  • Partner with EDO, EuOps, Information Security, Finance, and Snowflake administration teams to deliver platform improvements.
