Senior Developer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of hands-on full-stack Angular/Python development experience with web applications and backend systems.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including schema and index design, SQL implementation, and performance tuning.
• Experience working in Linux environments, including basic commands and log investigation.
• Practical experience with, or a strong understanding of, cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with, or an understanding of, system monitoring tools such as CloudWatch.
• Experience with, or an understanding of, source code management tools such as TFS/DevOps.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office products.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work beyond regular office hours when business needs require it.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain highly available systems for 24/7 operations, including redundancy, health checks, monitoring, alerts, and backup and recovery solutions.
• Design and optimize database schemas, and implement and tune SQL across RDBMS platforms such as Amazon RDS/Aurora, MS SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop, test, and maintain web applications, APIs, and batch processes that support business operations.
• Build and operate AWS cloud-based systems using services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Lead incident response, from initial investigation and recovery through root cause analysis and implementation of lasting fixes.
• Perform routine maintenance, including patching, releases, and performance testing.
• Lead technical implementation activities, release planning, deployment execution, and post-deployment validation.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, infrastructure teams, InfoSec, QA, and external vendors to deliver technology solutions.
• Convert business requirements into technical designs and actionable implementation plans.
• Provide technical support for audits, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments.
• Carry out other duties as required and participate in special projects as directed by management.

The typical base pay range for this role is $120,000–$170,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
